Many thanks Bhanu!

Sure that will complete with interest the internal discussions we already had on this big subject the Wifi 6 is ;) This is a high-detailed level on the tap description itself but I think you can add with interest this complement to our current discussions on the WLAN .11/he/wireless tap analyse we have internally. I like this complement on OBSS and OFDMA particularly.

May can you bring me some answers for me on 2 points, to clarify:

Does WPA3 and the SAE framing work with OKC method?
What about a OBSS Wifi 5 client connected to Wifi 6? Does it consider colors provided by STAs?

Thank you

Do WPA3 and the SAE framing work with the OKC method?

No. I would recommend going with 802.11r as most of the devices support WPA3 and SAE support 802.11r and it’s standard.

What about an OBSS Wifi 5 client connected to Wifi 6? Does it consider colors provided by STAs?

No, Wifi 5 clients do not consider and ignore provided by STAs.

Wifi 5 clients Ignore “HE” information Element in beacon & Probe response from WIFI 6 AP and WIFI 6 AP’s do not advertise the HE (IE) in Association response for WIFi 5 client.
