Hi Team

I have a question about the Dual Home Link function. I understand that the function is supported by OS6360, OS6450, OS6560, OS6860.

Does this mean that the core switch has to support DHL and should be a switch type that is mentioned above?

Or is this function 100% managed on the edge switch? So the core switch could be any type?

Hi dutchman,

 

DHL is purely an edge feature, no dependence on the core - other than VLAN reachability. If you do have control of the core, then you can use virtual chassis instead and standard LAG at the edge.
