Enterprise vs Express modes comparison

Hi, is there an official document to help understanding all the differences between the express and enterprise modes? Something like a comparison chart.

Hi Francois,

I do not believe that is a chat available however just reading through the different admin guides for both will show you that using Stellar AP’s via enterprise mode and using the OV2500 will provide you with a lot more than what express mode does.

I have used both and highly recommend using the Ov2500 to manage and configure the Stellar AP’s. The GUI is nice and clean. There is a youtube playlist which shows you through the stellar setup on OV2500.

* 64 APs in Express mode vs 4000 APs in Enterprise mode
+ multisite capabilities in Enterprise mode
* APs may be deployed in multiple RF environement in Enterprise mode (AP group concept + RF profile); not the case in Express mode
* APs may be deployed in multiple management VLANs in Enterprise mode (all APs need to communicate over one common VLAN in Express mode)
