Error on creating managemtn WLAN: no running AP can config!
Topic
Hello,
when I first started to configure my Alcatel Lucent Ap1101 Access Point I get the following error at the end: no running AP can config!
Normaly the AP has to delete the WLAN-SSID mywifi:79:E0 and create the Management SSID-WLAN. But it doesn’t function. Always the same error with three Laptops and lots of resets.
What could I do to solve the error?

Hello,
I connected to the Access Point correctly by the SSID ‘mywifi-xxxx’. I accessed the management of the AP with the IP adress, because the URL doesn't function. I couldn't complete the initialization wizard because I get the error. So the AP didn't delete the mywifi-xxxx. It was still in initialisation mode. I had two of the Access Points. I had no Problems with the first one. Yesterday I tried to disconnect the first one by pulling the power cord. And now it's no problem to connect to the second one and get the second ADMIN-SSID.
Finally, it's not possible to get access to another access point when the first one is already running. I wanted to copy all the Settings from the first one but in my case für the 5 VLANs it was faster to set it up again. Case is solved.

By default, the AP will be advertising the SSID ‘mywifi-xxxx’. The xxxx is the last two bytes of the PVM mac-address. On connecting to this SSID, the management of the AP can be accessed by the url http://mywifi.al-enterprise.com:8080. After the initialization wizard is complete (which appears to be your case ?), the default SSID will no longer be broadcasted. Are you sure that after completing the initialization wizard you connected correctly to the new WLANs you just created. did you try to reach the AP through the LAN and are you sure you get an ip adress on the subnet/VLAN where you configured the management SSID ? please try to access the AP on the lan using http://:8080 and let us know what's the result.
