Kindly advice following. User has OS6900-C32 (QSFP28 ports). User is getting Cisco UCS with VIC 1477 dual port 40/100G QSFP28 mLOM. With above UCS, user is getting 40GBASE-SR4 QSFP Transceiver Module with MPO connector
The above UCS servers will be connected to 6900-C32 via MTP-12 (FEMALE) TO MTP-12 (FEMALE) OM4 MULTIMODE ELITE TRUNK cables at 40G speed. The distance between the switch and server is not more than 20M.
To make this connection work which transceivers should we use at 6900-C32 side? 1. 100GBASE-SR4 QSFP28 2. QSFP-40G-SR
