Stellar-AP at a branch office, possible?

Topic

Hello Everyone,

I am familiar with the Stellar technology and its configuration so far.
But I try to find a “Remote Access Point” functionality. Can somebody help me?

This is my requirement:
I have to install a Stellar AP at a branch office with only an Internet-Line (ADSL).
The AP will get a DHCP-IP from the local ADSL-Router and advertise a standardized SSID.
Then the AP should open up an encrypted tunnel to my central site and put any traffic from the mentioned SSID thru this tunnel.

The traffic should break out at the central site and nowhere else.
Would be nice to get some advice how to handle this.

Thanks and regards
Rainer

All just as reminder. Pls note with the informations we have today, the next release of march (this is in fact a bundle OV2500/Stellar AWOS and VPN server bundle) will not provide specific RAP at Home functionality for 1 user (ie behind ADSL-like router) but particular RAP Branchs for Enterprise, in case of Enterprise network requires such Branch management from a central site managed by OV2500.

Rainer,

with next release (februari/march) we will introduce RAP functionality. We will deliver an OpenVPN server package so that the RAP can terminate tunnel centrally.
