Switch has STOPPED responding to OmniVista: Couldn't send SNMP

I have this problem : any idea ?

The Device Down Trap is sent when a device stops responding to OmniVista management requests.

Synopsis

Switch has STOPPED responding to OmniVista: Couldn’t send SNMP message (Timeout or Authentication Problem). Last up time: 56 days, 11:18:17.00

The trap is send to notify NMS enable to poll the switch.

This can be due to many reasons like

Switch is not responding to OV and switch is actually down.
NMS polls are unable to reach switch due to packet drop etc.
Switch response are unable to reach NMS due to packet drop etc.
