an anyone help me understand how to solve?

Hello Anghinonic,

Where did you buy your 3 AP Stellar? Thanks

I'm honestly struggled to understand alcatel lucent policies :( seems that if the question is to sell anyone could sell AL product, also Amazon; but if the question is to give assistance to these products nobody takes the responsability and the only answer that is provided is: "Where did you buy your APs?"

I had to sweat a month to get a decent firmware, which a private person (like me, who wanted to buy a professional device to manage his home) CANNOT have because he cannot register on the portal.

Now that I want to monitor with nagios, once I got the MIBs (even for those it took a month), I've been around for a month asking how they work and the only answer I get is: but where did you buy them?

I also tried to contact Alcatel business partners, who at the modest sum of € 400 per day would also be willing to help me, but I consider it a robbery

Now, please, someone help me to get out of this unpleasant situation by telling me how to use these blessed MIBs ??

@OLIVIER-STELLAR amazing :( I know both PDFs from memory by heart, and I have already read (while waiting for someone to answer me) all the documentation present on the al-enterprise relating to the AP1101 but NEVER did I find any indication of what my question is: HOW SHOULD I USE THESE MIBs, regardless of whether I am using Nagios or other tools certified or not by AL

MIBs "should" have a hierarchical structure that they seem not to have, or if present it is very unstructured.

Can we then support myself on these MIBs as if I were using an AL certified tool ?? also on the Nagios forum they say they turn to you, it is a continuous exchange of faults :(

Hi @OLIVIER-STELLAR, could you please let me know how much time AL needs for the new MIBs?

hi @OLIVIER-STELLAR,
I bought them on Amazon

Hi,
I understand situation and it is always frustrating have not the support you expected have. Pls note your Nagios snmp management configuration is outside the scope of Stellar managements and sounds not surprising have locked WebGUI here. You have to close first to the Nagios community to ask for similar MIBS issues. I can note our issue seems common to Nagios and exists apparently with many others MIBS sets. You should be able to manage your single cluster by keeping the native Express mode you have.
Pls close also to the reseller you had through Amazon, you are able normally to ask him directly the issue you have.
In case of already not done, you can always access to ALE tech documents we provide by default to Internet. Some are accessible directly from ALE site,

For Omnivista mode only : Search | Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise

Of course pls also access to the resources that are published here : https://www.spacewalkers.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/AP1101-User-Guide.pdf
Hope this helping
Best regards

Hi
Point has been raised seems the Nagios parser has found syntax error here in the MIB. Some variables sound not in the scope of what have been defined, then it is probably require a review on our MIBS.
The update will be certainly to provide you new version of Stellar MIBS, will keep you in touch at this moment with MIBS update.
Thanks for the information here , best regards

ok, thanks, i’m waiting then for your feedback with the new MIBs.
Could You please let me know how much time it takes??

Thanks

Hi

can anyone answer my request? I've been looking for MIBs for these access points for months and several months later (this is only the last of the requests made) I'm still here waiting for them.

It is an incredible thing that a PRIVATE user can purchase these devices and NOT even have the essential elements to make it work and manage it
